This time I did take away. Plan to buy Fish Asam Pedas, whole fish - 74 RM. Suppose to buy Beef Rendang but not available. Recommend something else and bought Mutton- 22 RM.

Yummy and delicious I love the duck soul very much 咸菜鸭汤 Better to make reservations if you wish to enjoy the foods.

This is probably my 4th time here (first time when I was about 4-5 years old) and I'm now 24, best place for nyonya cuisine in Melaka! The quality of the food is always (especially the Belacan Potato Leaves), the service is quick when the crowd is less and the price is very reasonable (our whole meal for 3 barely cost more than 135RM)! Definitely will pay Makko a visit everytime I'm back in Melaka and I suggest you should too!

I came here on a Friday afternoon after the lunch crowd. Parking was quite easy to get. So there were seats available. The ambience is cosy, feels like you’re at your grandma’s house with the furniture that they used, green marble tables and antique wooden chairs. Was welcomed by the lovely ladies who were working there. I felt the sincerity of their hospitality. The food were all good. I came to eat with my partner and we ordered quite a few dishes- udang lemak nanas, ikan goreng cili garam, sambal sotong petai, puck paku belacan, bendi cili, cencalok omelette with the side of iced Chinese teas. All of their dishes were so delicious. They all came quickly. Prawn was huge, juicy and sweet, the dishes were not so spicy which is good for me, the fish was crispy, the portions were big. Our total came at RM225.00 which is very reasonable for me. I’d love to come here again next time.

Ordered chicken pongteh (a bit below my expectation, I prefer a thicker gravy), sambal sotong petai (tasty), cincalok egg was excellent and kerabu bendih was done just nice. Dishes are not spicy at all. For those who cannot eat spicy food, I think will be tolerable. Saw a lot of people ordered the fried chicken, but we didn't because of the pongteh and didn't want to over eat. Dessert had to be cendol which was OK. A nice family styled restaurant with friendly staff and fast service. Recommended for families with kids.
